Book Around is committed to being as author-centric as possible, which is why we offer our event space free of charge to all local authors. Whether you're hosting a book launch, reading, or discussion, our space is available to you at no cost. However, to ensure sustainability, books sold during author events will follow our consignment terms, where the store takes a 25% commission on all sales.
All events will be advertised on our website, social media channels, and in-store.
Exclusive Event Space Benefits for Flori Fundamentals Clients:
Clients of Flori Fundamentals, our attached author consulting agency, will receive complimentary marketing support for one event during the duration of their contract. This includes full management of a comprehensive event marketing strategy.
Additional Terms for Consulting Clients:
Complimentary marketing support is available for one event during the contract period.
The marketing support offer extends 6 months beyond the contract end date, allowing authors additional time to plan and execute their event.
Priority placement for event scheduling and first access to available dates, ensuring you get the best times for your event.
Event Space for Non-Clients:
Non-clients of Flori Fundamentals may also access the event space once per year at no cost for their book-related events. For these events, marketing support is available at an added fee.
To align with our mission of using our space to foster a welcoming environment for individuals, groups, and organizations alike, we are pleased to offer our space at no cost for community organizations hosting public events that benefit and engage the local community. We are proud to collaborate with organizations doing work to positively impact our community.
We believe in the importance of supporting local initiatives and providing a platform for groups to come together. While the space is provided for free, we kindly invite organizations to make a voluntary contribution to help us cover promotional and event planning efforts.
All events will be listed on the website and on Facebook. However, this voluntary contribution would not only allow us to ensure sustainability of this model, but would also help cover increased promotional efforts, amplifying the visibility of your event through additional social media channels and in-store displays to ensure maximum reach and engagement. Your contribution, no matter the amount, directly supports the sustainability of our mission to offer accessible, community-driven events while improving the overall outcome for everyone involved.
